Office 365 Group Accounts are not personal accounts associated with an individual. These are special accounts designed specifically for department-sponsored projects and recognized groups. They are stand-alone accounts that are associated with a project, a group, or a function. The owners (Responsible Parties) control access and can share the login ID and password.
