Johns Hopkins Children's Center Ranked #5 by U.S. News & World Report

The Children’s Center continues to be the highest-ranked children’s hospital in Maryland

Johns Hopkins Children’s Center was ranked #5 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report on its 2017–18 Best Children’s Hospitals Honor Roll. The Children’s Center has the distinction of being the only children’s hospital integrated with an adult facility to make the honor roll in 2017, and it continues to be the highest-ranked pediatric hospital in the state of Maryland. Seven of Johns Hopkins Children’s Center’s specialties were ranked among the top 10 nationally, with two appearing in the top five.

Performance Management

The Office of Human Resources is pleased to share with you an updated performance management policy that reflects the new performance management process used within the SuccessFactors myPerformance system.

Changes from the former policy include:

 For those areas that use competencies to meet Joint Commission requirements, a cross functional group of staff and managers worked to create a framework for identifying and verifying competencies. A facilitator’s guide for creating competencies is linked from within the policy.
